The Blueskin News is a community newsletter established in 1985 for residents of the Blueskin Bay communities of Seacliff, Warrington, Evansdale, Waitati, Doctors Point and Purakaunui.

The newsletter is published monthly and highlights  news and events that matter to our community. Our aim is to inform, educate and entertain as well as encouraging community involvement in local events.

We welcome and thank all residents for your contributions and invite you to send your short articles of local interest, calendar events, milestones, history, historic images, poems, recipes, photos of local events and anything else you wish to share. 

Where possible, please try to limit articles to 250-300 words max, about half a page. 

The Blueskin News is produced by the entirely voluntary efforts of the BSN Committee. It is freely available to all in a print edition and also online. As such we rely on our local advertisers and donations to cover printing and other costs. They are how we manage to keep production going and we are always grateful for their support.
